As an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers with a Fine Arts Specialization and  over 15 years of professional experience in the arts business, and a degree in Fine Art, Shelley Hall exceeds the IRS requirements for a "Qualified Appraiser" in all federal tax appraisals.  We are USPAP certified and all of our formal written appraisals conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) as set forth by the Standards Board of the Appraisal Foundation of America.  

 

Specializing in Modern, Contemporary and Northwest Art, Shelley has experience appraising numerous art and antiques, including 18th and 19th Century European and Western Art, as well as Native American Art and Artifacts, Mid-century modern furniture, sculpture, glass, pottery and porcelain.  Her background includes owning a Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, curating exhibitions, working as an Art Consultant with Galleries and Corporations, as well as being a fine artist herself.
